Since about 25 years the all-weather riding ground Hippotex is widely used as flooring material for riding fields (horse training grounds). Hippotex is a textile covering, made of woven fabric and laid in form of irregular polygons. It is therefore not susceptible to structural damage, even through extreme loads, so riding grounds or horse walkers,  roundpens etc. can be used in adverse weather conditions like frost or rain showers. No floor renewal is required like with sand or chaff grounds - applying Hippotex does not lead to great consequential expenses.
